Originally from Chattanooga, I moved to Nashville in 1999 to study engineering at Vanderbilt University. During college I took up programming as a summer job and hobby and worked my way out of Cold Fusion development and into PHP and Ruby. Over the next several years I moved from entertainment industry web sites and into real estate, medical, and finally government sector software projects.
In my free time I like to take a spin on my bike, brew beer, and am currently working on my private pilot’s license. On the less active side of the spectrum I occasionally turn on the Xbox 360 and play a little Halo 3 or Call of Duty.
