You know the feeling… middle of the project and tempers are flaring. The designers and developers are at it again — two different sets of skills, two different tasks, two different ways of approaching the project. Communication has degraded into the two sides talking at each-other instead of talking with each-other. In the meantime the manager is doing everything possible to keep the project moving while maintaining some semblance of quality during this production “tug-of-war”.
In this session, designers and developers will learn strategies for clearly and effectively communicating their needs to the other party. We will explore some of the goals and intentions of each side and how to bridge the gap to effective communication. Managers have the opportunity to develop strategies to bring both sides to the table and to keep the project on track, on time, and on budget.
