I am happy to announce some more food a drink benefits of being a BarCamper! As you all know by now, the Hard Rock Cafe has generously offered to host happy hours for us from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Just when you thought it could not get any better than that…Creative Logic Media has offered to provide a tab to open the festivities at Hard Rock so show up early, and drink “‘til the well runs dry” ADDITIONALLY, Hard Rock will be providing delicious spinach dip and chicken tenders. We appreciate the support of Hard Rock Cafe and Creative Logic Media! (Hip-Hip-Hooray x 3)
Regarding lunch…we have worked long a hard to arrange some lunch specials at some of the several restaurants on Broadway with limited success. Times are tough out there and many of these establishments are operating on low budgets and/or light staff. Also, we are relatively unknown to these people so they are hesitant to take a risk on offering a deal because they do not know how many people we will turn out. So here’s what I suggest we do. Go to the restaurants on Broadway, eat lots of food, drink many drinks, tip your waiters, waitresses, and bartenders AND make sure they see your BarCamp badge. If we support the local restaurants in these difficult economic times, they will remember who we are next year and be more likely to jump in. Go team BarCamp!
Finally, the details of the Pub Crawl are falling into place. I am most proud to announce that Nashville Landmark and home of BR5-49 & Brazil Billy: Roberts Western Wear, has agreed to host the 8 to 9PM hour with $2 Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer! We have 4 more bars hanging on drink specials that I hope to wrap up by mid day tomorrow. Keep your eyes on the BarCamp Nashville website for further details!
